“Hoop” dance / counter balance
Our arms are anatomically part of the back. As an energetic extension of the spine, they can provide assistance in mindful actions when needed (holding, lifting, catching and cradling, to name a few...). Our hands know when to hold and release when inherently connected to center. We also explore counter balancing with a score I call “rock climbing”.
